Barre borrows elements from ballet, yoga, and Pilates, and focuses on toning specific muscle groups at a time. Add a little bounce and some cardio, and you have an amazing full-body workout! Here, we start with the fundamentals. No equipment needed - we'll flip the bellicon on its side.
After targeting our leg muscles in barre work, we will pause to bring in some ballet-inspired poses as we work our core muscles to stay upright. Expect to smile and add in something slightly different to your barre and bounce practice. Optional: A set of light weights or substitute.
We will get our strength and our sweat on, with advanced toning segments and high-intensity bounces.
This class takes you into the strength zone with intervals of cardio, coupled with strength training using dumbbells. In this class Jenna uses 10lb and 5lb dumbbells, however, you can choose the weight that works for you or simply work without weights, using your own body's resistance.
